INVESTMENT IN SAVING LIVES

Today, the Choctaw Volunteer Fire Department accepted delivery of a new Hurst 358 Combi Tool (Jaws of Life) from MES.

This purchase of this new tool was funded in part by a $10,000 grant from the State Farm Good Neighbor Firefighter Safety Program and a $7,700 grant from ConocoPhillips.

Choctaw Volunteer Fire Department applied for and was selected as one of one-hundred departments nationwide to receive the State Farm Good Neighbor Firefighter Safety Program grant, and was one of only two departments in the State of Louisiana to receive the grant.

We continue to seek out alternative funding sources to fund purchases of much needed equipment.
