TRAINING TIDBITS

Tonight, members Kelsey Benoit and Christian Bourgeois attended a Night Landing Zone class at Saint John Volunteer Fire Department.

Acadian Air Med employees taught those in attendance important procedures and safety measures to safely and effectively establish a night landing zone in the event Air Med needs to respond to their jurisdiction.

After a video presentation, everyone was taken outside to watch a group of attendees go through the steps of setting up a landing zone for Air Med 2, which appeared over the horizon about ten minutes after everyone gathered outside.

Once Air Med 2 was safely on the ground, everyone was allowed to look at all of the lifesaving equipment carried on board and ask questions of the Air Med personnel.
