​“After much consideration and consultation with local officials and krewes, we have decided to collectively cancel Mardi Gras parades parish-wide at this time,” announced Parish President Archie Chaisson.

“The patience and support of our residents and business community when these difficult decisions have to be made does not go unnoticed. With the new year upon us, we must remain diligent in order to put this pandemic behind us as soon as possible to move forward, together,” said President Chaisson.
